The Children’s Hour was written by Lillian Hellman and follows a group of girls within an all-girls boarding school. My role on this production was the Lighting Designer and I was face with many challenges during this production. The production was complicated as we had 3 casts performing for 3 audiences in promenade at the same time. This posed many logistical challenges when attempting to think of my design. Other issues were the venue was not a theatrical venue and had no infrastructure or lighting equipment which means I had to think very much outside of the box in order to create a design.
