You Don’t Need My Permission was a devised production written by the cast and directed by Jonathan Grieve. The production consisted of a pre-show exhibition before starting the several devised scenes created by small groups of the cast. For this production I was the Lighting Designer, I was faced with the challenge of creating the lighting states within the scenes and much like how the scenes themselves were created I too had to devise my lighting cues accordingly. Attempting to balance pre-planed work and complete devised states was a difficult challenge but overall fun.
